A modern house is the place where people have all the good conditions for a decent living. And that includes both hot and cold water and, of course, the air conditioning system. In order to provide these good conditions, the best solutions nowadays are the district cooling contractors. People use hot water especially when they take showers and sometimes when they have to wash some clothes made of delicate materials. But, in the rest of the time, people use most the cold water. It is the main source of cleaning the dishes, washing the clothes, preparing the meals and sometimes, even for drinking. But the experts claim that is better to avoid drinking cold or hot water from the kitchen sink because it can be dangerous, due to the large amount of chlorine.
The main role of the district cooling contractors is to deliver chilled water to buildings, starting with the living ones and ending with the factories or the offices. The experts say that the whole process of delivering water is a little bit difficult during the cold seasons, like winter. But, as a solution it is used the sea water.
However, so far, there are only ten countries in the world which appeal to district cooling contractors: Finland, Sweden, United States, Switzerland, Canada, Netherlands, India, Qatar, Kuwait and United Arab Emirates.
The United Arab Emirates started using the services of district cooling contractors in 2006. The Palm Jumeirah, which is the largest man-made island in the world, utilizes this modern technology to provide air conditioning for buildings. But it is not the only one.
Lately, in Dubai, more and more commercial centers or hotels are interested in using district cooling systems for producing chilled water or even the hot one, because the system proves to be highly efficient. According to them, the district cooling contractors have also the role to reduce the operating and maintenance costs up to 20%. The owners of this kind of system claim that the district cooling contractors are able to help saving space inside a building because they can put district cooling systems underground or even over rooftops.
